Merit Certificates

It’s that time of year again!  We are looking for volunteers to present SWE Merit Certificates to several schools.  The award recipients have already been selected and certificates have been mailed to the schools.

DWC Graduating Seniors Welcomed to Engineering

Last week, I had the opportunity to have dinner with two of Daniel Webster College's graduating seniors. The two students are currently finishing up their finals and preparing to enter the workforce. I was impressed by their passion for engineering and excitement about the future. I'm very happy to welcome these two ladies into engineering!

Society of Women Engineers and IEEE Make It Happen for Bedford Girl Scouts

President Obama, at the White House Science Fair in October observed that the most common college degree held by Fortune 500 CEO’s is an Engineering Degree.  But, our future CEOs, inventors, and creators of tomorrow’s world don’t start in college – the critical wonderment window is 4th & 5th grades.  This is why the Society of Women Engineers created the “Making it Matter” day at Daniel Webster College  and why New Hampshire’s IEEE Section sponsored Bedford Girl Scout Junior Troop 10488’s participation.
