Update: It's official! SWE-SNH is an official section as of May 12th!

It is time to elect officers to govern the SWE
southern NH section for FY09. These officers will serve for FY09 beginning July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 (a one year term). To hold an office one must be a SWE member in good standing. A non-member can run if their application is in process, but must be a member before assuming office.

The SWE Region F Conference will be held at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, MA on Saturday April 12th – 13th. The conference will be held on from 8am to 8pm on April 12th and includes: a keynote breakfast, a career fair, seminars, panel discussions, SWE training and an evening dinner and speaker. The Region F Business meeting is open to all SWE members and will be held on Sunday, April 13th from 9am to 1pm. Registration can be found on the web at http://www.swe.org/RegionF/regconf08/RegFregistration.htm. If you register before March 7th you can receive the early bird discount.

On February 5, 2008 at a joint meeting of SWE and SME, fires were ignited and wires were fused! Lucky for us all this was a good thing; we were touring the testing facilities for FCI Burndy in Manchester, NH.
