- 8:00 PM Observatory viewing, Behind the Dome discussion, self guided tours
- 10:00 PM Scheduled to adjourn
Reception Menu: Italian Meatballs, Cordon Bleu Bites, Tomato Basil Crostini, Spanikopita, Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, with self-serve coffee and sodas.
Cost: $25 per person - payable at the meeting, cash or check only.

Additional Details:
We have reserved the planetarium and observatory for up to 100 guests for the evening of February 10. (Snow date – Tuesday, February 16) During the reception guests may tour any of the exhibits in the classic planetarium facility. The theater show at 7pm features a NASA small explorers mission that is currently operating with UNH Space Science Center produced sensors and instrumentation components.
At 8pm the Observatory opens for 2 hours of viewing through the large telescope.
Presentation – IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System
Discover how scientists and engineers are using cutting-edge technology to explore the boundary between our solar system and the rest of our galaxy. Learn how the IBEX mission was developed, how the spacecraft was created, and how IBEX is collecting high-speed atoms to create a map of our solar system’s boundary, in this engaging planetarium show narrated by two inquisitive teenagers and the IBEX scientists and engineers themselves.
Parking at the Discovery Center:
There is a parking lot across from the new entrance to the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. Please continue all the way through the community college parking and around the Discovery Center buildings to park in the lot adjacent to the 92’ Redstone Rocket.
